Overview

The report describes BP in Azerbaijan's 2015 operations, including Shah Deniz Stage 2 progress and continued oil and gas production. It reports zero fatalities among BP staff and contractors, while gross GHG emissions fell to about 3.4 million tonnes and hazardous waste declined substantially. The report also highlights $1.54 billion in in-country operations-only spending with local suppliers and community, education and workforce-development initiatives. Ernst & Young provided limited assurance over selected performance data and statements.
