Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is Buru Energy's inaugural sustainability report for 2021, prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards and aligned completely with TCFD recommendations. It sets a net-zero carbon emissions target for 2050 and reports operational Scope 1 emissions of 13,076 tCO2e and total Scope 1, 2 and selected Scope 3 emissions of 120,884 tCO2e. The company recorded zero fatalities, lost-time injuries and Tier 1 or Tier 2 process safety events, while female participation was 22% across employees and contractors and local Kimberley procurement exceeded $17 million.
