Overview

The report is Butterball's inaugural 2018 CSR report covering four commitment pillars: People, Plate, Planet and Philanthropy. It reports approximately 6,700 team members, no work-related fatalities, 1,718,426 gigajoules of energy consumption and 607 ML of water consumption. Environmental highlights include 46.8% recycled material and a commitment to remove 1.5% of combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 2022 from a 2018 baseline. The report also includes a GRI Core content index and a stakeholder-based materiality assessment.
