Overview

The report presents BYD's 2023 group-wide sustainability performance across its global workforce, operations and supply chain. It reports 703,504 employees, zero occupational deaths, and extensive employee development and care programs. Environmental disclosures include 931,915.86 Ton of Scope I emissions, 11,409,538.71 Ton of Scope II emissions and 12,341,454.57 Ton of total greenhouse gas emissions. The report also describes climate-risk management, green electricity certificate purchases and energy-saving projects, alongside community donations and education initiatives.
