GRI Content Report

Overview

The report presents C.Vale's first GRI-based Content Report for 2023, covering January 1 to December 31, and describes a stakeholder materiality process that prioritized climate strategy, water and effluents, supplier traceability, food safety and occupational health and safety. It reports R$24,42 billion in invoicing and 13,886 employees, alongside more than 431 thousand training hours and 86% of employees receiving training. Environmental disclosures include 258 millions KWH/year of energy consumption and 5.662 million M3/year of water consumption. The report also records three employee deaths in 2023 workplace accidents.
