Overview

The report presents CN's 2024 sustainability performance across safety, climate, environmental management, people, communities and governance. It reports an approximately 4% reduction in total absolute Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions from 2023, SBTi approval of its net-zero 2050 goal, and nearly 10% renewable locomotive fuel use. It also highlights approximately 95% operational waste diversion and 71.3 Ha of habitat restored.
