Overview

The report describes Capital Securities' 2022 ESG performance across environmental, social and governance topics and covers the Company and its subsidiaries in Taiwan. Sustainability oversight is placed under a Board-level Sustainable Development Committee supported by six task forces. Updated 2022 environmental data include 447.24 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 5,034.04 tCO2e of Scope 2 emissions, 36,171.59 Gigajoule of energy consumption, and 52,374 cubic meter of water consumption. The report also records 67.4838 metric tons of waste, no occupational accident cases, and 12 sustainable-bond underwriting cases totaling NT$8.27 billion.
