Overview

The report describes Carrefour's 2014 CSR approach, including the development of an integrated reporting process and projects addressing waste, biodiversity, human rights and supplier relations. The company reported 3.58 million t. CO2 eq. of direct and indirect GHG emissions and a 31.1% reduction in store energy consumption per square metre versus 2004. Carrefour also obtained ISO 50001 certification for all consolidated sites and subjected selected CSR information to reasonable assurance, with broader CSR information receiving limited assurance from Mazars.
