Overview

The report presents Cementir Holding's 2009 environmental performance across cement and ready-mixed concrete operations. It reports 6,660 million metric tons of CO2 emissions from Cementir Group plants and 34,000 TJ of thermal plus 4,245 TJ of electric energy use. The Group also reports no fatal accident in 2009 and describes ongoing investments, training, alternative fuels and water recycling to improve environmental and HSE performance.
