Overview

The report is Central Development's seventh ESG report for 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023, covering its Energy and Jewelry businesses and Yuyao Factory. It describes Board oversight through an ESG Taskforce and a stakeholder-based materiality assessment. For 2023, the Group reported 60 employees, 7.77 Tonnes of CO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 101.32 Tonnes of CO2e of Scope 2 emissions, 191.17 MWh of total energy consumption and 1,203.46 m3 of water consumption. It also reports 0.003 Tonnes of hazardous waste and 1.26 Tonnes of non-hazardous waste, alongside initiatives on energy efficiency, recycling and community activities.
