Business Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes CG's FY 2019-20 business-responsibility activities across the nine NVG principles, including ethics, product responsibility, employee wellbeing, human rights, environmental responsibility and inclusive growth. It reports 5,110 employees, including 2,308 temporary/contractual employees, and highlights training and community programmes that reached around 2,049 youth and women. Environmental actions included rooftop solar panels, rainwater harvesting, energy audits and ISO-certified environmental and safety systems. The report also notes quarterly Board review of EHS compliance and material occurrences, against a backdrop of significant financial restatements at standalone and consolidated levels.
