Overview

The report presents a dedicated Sustainability section covering employee engagement, diversity, community giving and environmental management. It reported 479 Group employees at 30 June 2012 and 14% female Board representation, with senior management at 29% female. Challenger was recognised as a member of the FTSE4Good Index and described a commitment to offset 100% of head-office power usage through Climate Friendly. The report also describes NABERS-rated premises and waste-management changes intended to reduce landfill.
