Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents CCAL's first sustainability report for 2014-15, prepared in accordance with the GRI G4 Core option. It highlights total energy consumption of 9442.80 TOE and Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 2089.971 and 86578.555 MTCO2e, respectively. Environmental initiatives include dry cooling, extensive water recycling, rainwater harvesting, and a reported water saving of about 40KL per day. The report also describes implementation of all 14 Process Safety Management elements and community programs focused on education, vocational skills, and local development.
