Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents CCAL's FY 2015-16 sustainability performance for its Kalapet chlor-alkali operations and states that it follows the GRI G4 Core option. Key highlights include total energy consumption of 8299.97 TOE, Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions of 1691.061, 77390.686 and 116.361 MTCO2e, and 103089 cu.m of rainwater harvested. The report also describes implementation of all 14 Process Safety Management elements and ongoing community and workforce programmes.
