Overview

The report highlights $503 million in FY23 community impact, including substantial under-reimbursed costs for government-sponsored programs and charity care. The hospital also reports 968 community volunteers and 4,578 cumulative volunteer hours, while distributing 39,000 pounds of produce, 500 hot meals and more than 1,000 packaged food items through local partnerships. Workforce-development programs produced 54 Transition RN Fellowship graduates and supported three Project SEARCH interns, one of whom later received a CHLA job offer.
