Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes China Galaxy Securities' 2020 social responsibility and ESG activities across governance, customer and employee engagement, environmental management, green finance, and poverty alleviation. The company formally established an ESG Working Group in December 2020 and used an ESG materiality matrix to guide disclosures. It underwrote three green bonds with a total amount of RMB4.2 billion and reported extensive targeted poverty-alleviation support, including donations of over RMB51 million. The report also presents group-level workforce, energy, water and greenhouse-gas data and includes limited independent assurance by Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP.
