Overview

The report is the Group's first sustainability disclosure and covers only CIHL (Tianjin) Water Development Limited, reflecting the subsidiary's water-treatment and distribution operations. In 2017, water supplied reached 16,598,814 m3 while electricity used was 2,441,208 kw. h and energy consumption intensity fell to 147.07 kw. h/1000 m3, a 12.64% decrease. The company reported 53 employees and no incidents resulting in death or injury to workers in the past three years. Customer service included 5,860 service requests and around-the-clock ATM payment access at eight Bank of China branches.
