Environmental, Social and Governance Report

Overview

The report covers the Group's environmental and social performance for 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023. It describes Board-level ESG oversight, an annual stakeholder-informed materiality assessment, and policies covering emissions, resources, climate risks, labour practices, supply chain, service responsibility, anti-corruption and community investment. Reported 2022/23 data include 30.96 Tonnes of Scope 1 emissions, 15.09 Tonnes of Scope 2 emissions, 145.48 Megawatt hours of calculated total energy consumption, and 271.42 Cubic meters of water consumption. The Group set 10% reductions in greenhouse-gas-emission intensity, energy-consumption intensity and water-consumption intensity by or before 2025/2026, with progress marked in progress.
