Overview

The report describes China Shenshan's FY2022 sustainability performance after severe drought and COVID-19 disruption. The company reported 221 permanent staff and 190 contract workers, no reported wrongdoing and no serious or fatal workplace incidents. Resource usage rose to 11,472 tonnes of water, 35.33 10,000 kWh of electricity and 57,191 litres of fuel, so the 3%-5% reduction target was not met. The report also details Board-led sustainability governance, a Sustainability Task Force and reporting in accordance with GRI Standards 2021.
