Overview

The report presents CIEL's first year of reporting using the Integrated Reporting framework, alongside Group revenue of MUR 20.26bn for the year ended 30 June 2017. Sustainability governance reached 80%, while CIEL released a Code of Ethics covering business integrity, workplace culture, data privacy, reputation and environmental and social issues. CIEL Textile also used the Higg Index through its Sustainable Apparel Coalition membership, and Sun Resorts hotels received EarthCheck Silver accreditation.
