Overview

The report describes CIMB Group's first year of the Forward30 strategy, combining record financial performance with a strong sustainability agenda. The company mobilised RM39.8 billion in green, social and sustainable impact products and services and advanced financial inclusion across ASEAN. Operational Scope 1 and 2 emissions were reduced by 50% from the 2019 baseline, while the Group set a 2030 operational net-zero target and retained its overall net-zero ambition for 2050. Sustainability governance was strengthened through Board oversight, the Board Group Sustainability Committee and regional Sustainability Champions.
