Citizenship Report

Overview

The report presents Citi's 2006 citizenship performance across community investment, employee volunteering, financial education, microfinance and environmental management. It reports 333,097 direct staff, $137 million in total giving, more than 45,000 participants in Global Community Day, and 2,705 GWh of total energy consumed. Citi also reports a commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 10 percent from its 2005 baseline by 2011 and describes its Environmental and Social Risk Management Policy and revised Equator Principles. The report includes GRI-referenced reporting guidance and detailed environmental footprint tables.
