Corporate Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes Citizens' 2019 progress in corporate responsibility, including formal ESG oversight by the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and a newly commenced ESG materiality assessment. It highlights a workforce of 18,000 colleagues, expanded training and development, and continued diversity and inclusion efforts. Environmental performance was tracked across energy, water, paper, waste/recycling, business travel and greenhouse gas emissions and reported annually through CDP. Community efforts included $16 million in giving, more than 12 million meals supported, and more than 144,000 hours of colleague volunteering.
