Overview

The report presents Cleanaway's FY22 sustainability performance across people, planet and prosperity. It records one driver and two contractor deaths in safety incidents, while reporting Scope 1 emissions of 1,162kt CO2-e and Scope 2 emissions of 50kt CO2-e. Cleanaway established separate 2030 and 2050 methane and carbon dioxide reduction targets, including a 2050 carbon dioxide net-zero target. Sustainability and climate oversight is assigned to a Board Sustainability Committee.
