Overview

The report describes Clearwater Paper's first measurement against long-term environmental goals, including corrected baselines and reductions in water use, energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and manufacturing waste. A companywide water-conservation Kaizen generated more than 150 ideas and nearly halved daily consumption at the Lewiston facility. The report also highlights a 42% reduction in turpentine from wastewater, certified or controlled fiber sourcing, and safety and community initiatives.
