Overview

The report describes Close Brothers' commitment to net zero across operations, supply chain and financed activities by 2050 or sooner. For FY2024, it reports operational Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 2,579 tCO2e on a market-based basis and 3,226 tCO2e on a location-based basis, alongside total energy use of 15.86 GWh. Overall climate and ESG strategy responsibility sits with the board, supported by board and executive committees. The people section also describes a new Group Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
