Overview

The report records an 11.4% reduction in carbon emissions across the Group in 2016. On-site renewable and low-carbon generation reached 550,619 kWh, while recycling across managed UK assets reached 51%. It reports 100% EPC compliance for UK properties ahead of the regulation taking effect in 2018 and 11 sustainability building certifications in progress or achieved. The Group also set 2017 targets for a further 5% year-on-year carbon reduction, 70% recycling, and 2.5% renewable and low-carbon electricity.
