Overview

The report presents CMHC's 2025 performance across housing finance, government programs, research and organizational capacity, including $49.45 billion committed for 348,240 housing units. It reports 736.8 tonnes of CO2e for the operational footprint and 2,817.4 tonnes of CO2e of operational Scope 3 emissions, while noting a restatement of 2024 Scope 1 data. The company also strengthened Board oversight of climate-related risks and expanded flood and wildfire exposure analysis across its major business activities.
