Overview

The report covers CMOC's 2016 activities across mining, smelting, processing, sales, hotels and other businesses, while excluding data from non-controlled companies and several businesses acquired late in 2016. It describes an implemented ISO14001 environmental management system, clean production and mine rehabilitation efforts. Social disclosures include 6,002 employees in China, of whom 2,096 were female, and extensive training and safety programs. Anti-corruption reporting states that no corruption, bribery, blackmail, fraud or money-laundering cases were reported, alongside 13 whistleblowing reports with a 100% settlement rate.
