Overview

The report describes CMOC's 2024 ESG performance across global mining and trading operations. It highlights the first year of external assurance covering all Group operations, Scope 1 and 2 emissions of approximately 2,000,000 tonnes, and a newly disclosed Scope 3 inventory totaling 3,690,315 tonnes CO2e. The workforce comprised 12,317 employees and 21,494 contractors, while five contractor fatalities occurred at TFM. Community investment totaled RMB 458.92 million, including substantial spending on development and resettlement projects.
