ESG Report

Overview

The report is Cochlear's first ESG Report and covers FY18, from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018. It organizes its disclosures around communities, governance, environment, and people, with global estimates of 21,500 MWh of directly purchased energy and Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 728 and 13,537 tCO2-e. It also highlights a new global diversity and inclusion strategy, solar installation, supplier due diligence, and estimated global water use of 60,087m3.
