Overview

The report presents CMC's 2024 sustainability performance across global operations, covering the fiscal year from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024. It reports 13,178 employees, zero fatalities and 131 facilities with no recordable injuries. Environmental highlights include a 20% Scope 1 and 2 emissions-intensity reduction target by 2030 against a 2019 baseline and a 14.2% renewable share of total energy in 2024. The performance tables report 1,038,806 MTCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 1,215,332 MTCO2e of Scope 2 emissions and 1,615,509 MTCO2e of Scope 3 emissions.
