Overview

The report describes CPPIB's sustainable investing model across engagement, integration and collaboration for July 2016-June 2017. It reports support for more than 30 climate-related shareholder resolutions and engagement with 53 companies on climate change, alongside activity on water, human rights and executive compensation. CPPIB also highlights its role in the TCFD and implementation of the PRI's six principles. Its Sustainable Investing Committee, Board oversight and Climate Change Working Group are presented as key governance mechanisms.
