Overview

The report is D&G's first sustainability report covering performance for 2015 and describes its materiality process across Technology, People and Nature. The company reports 444 year-end employees, zero fatal incident for China employees, and a 1.3 Lost Time Injury Rate, while acknowledging that safety figures accounted for employees in China only. Environmental highlights include 1,737 tCO2e from Langfang and Hong Kong operations, 4,837,000 kWh at Langfang plus 32,000 kWh at Hong Kong, and 40.5 tonnes of hazardous waste. The company also replaced two diesel buses with electric buses, recycled 211.37 tonnes of steel scrap, and collected 6,000 kg of food waste for animal feed.
