Overview

The report describes Group greenhouse gas emissions of 90,867.26 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2017, comprising direct emissions of 45,679.45 tons and indirect emissions of 45,187.81 tons. It also highlights the replacement of coal-fired boilers with natural gas and biomass energy, which replaced 4,880.86 tons of standard coal and reduced carbon dioxide equivalent emissions by 2,608.41 tons. In its supply-chain program, 11 Group plants had been certified by Intertek by the end of 2017.
