Overview

The report covers the Group's 2024 ESG performance across banking and insurance operations in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China. Highlights include a 22% reduction in paper usage from the 2020 baseline, 4,066 tonnes CO2e of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, and a 54% female share of full-time employees. The Group also initiated Scope 3 data collection for four categories and reported 3,269 total workforce, 12,750 m3 water consumption and 517 tonnes of calculated hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
