Environmental Report

Overview

The report describes Daiwa Can's environmental policy through three materialities: climate action, an environmentally circular society, and waste reduction. It sets 2030 reduction goals against 2015 of 45% for Scope 1 and 2 and 30% for Scope 3, alongside a 2050 carbon-neutrality goal. FY2023 Scope 1 and 2 emissions were 180,000 tons and Scope 3 emissions were 1,062,451 tons. The report also highlights renewable-energy PPAs initiated for the Shimizu Plant in 2024 and FY2023 industrial waste of 2,824 tons.
