Overview

The report presents Danone's 2019 progress through nine integrated goals for 2030, including health, inclusion, biodiversity and planetary-resource priorities. It commits to becoming carbon neutral across its full value chain by 2050 and reports that its carbon-reduction targets were approved by the Science-Based Targets initiative. The company expanded B Corp certification to 20 entities and reported that over one third of its global business was covered. Danone also highlighted its people-powered governance model, under which employees received shares and participated in strategic consultations.
