Overview

The report presents Downer's 2014 sustainability performance across safety, environmental management, energy and greenhouse gas emissions. The company reported a 1.8% reduction in total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, 702 ktCO2e of Scope 3 emissions and total energy consumption of 3,980 TJ. It also disclosed a workplace fatality during the year and described Group-wide safety and environmental management initiatives. Deloitte provided limited assurance over selected sustainability indicators and the GRI B+ application level.
