Overview

The report describes DuluxGroup's 2016 safety and sustainability performance, including more than 22 years without a fatality and an 11% reduction in recordable injuries. Serious injuries fell 40%, while combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions were 33,400 tonnes CO2-e and total energy consumption was 485,000 GJ. Water consumption intensity decreased 5% to 0.60 kL/t, although waste to landfill increased 9% to 14.8 kg/t. Product stewardship initiatives included Paintback and reformulation or replacement of hazardous materials.
