Overview

The report presents the DZ BANK Group's 2025 sustainability disclosures on a consolidated basis under ESRS, including double materiality, 38,778 employees, gross Scope 1 emissions of 23,093 tCO2eq, location-based Scope 2 emissions of 39,494 tCO2eq, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 9,367 tCO2eq, and gross Scope 3 emissions of 354,852,248 tCO2eq. It sets a climate-neutrality target for controllable own-operation emissions by 2045, with interim reductions of 9 percent by 2030, 24 percent by 2035, and 47 percent by 2040 from a 2024 base year.
