Overview

The report covers EcoWorld Malaysia's Group-wide FY2023 sustainability performance from 1 November 2022 to 31 October 2023 across the head office and 16 active development projects. It reports a 15% absolute Scope 2 emissions reduction since 2019 and introduces a Net Zero 2050 Roadmap with Group-wide Scope 2 targets for 2025 and 2030. Environmental disclosures include 36,188 GJ of total energy consumption, 3,673 tCO2e of Scope 3 emissions and 10,721 tonnes of total waste generated. Social highlights include 1,083 employees, 45% women in the workforce, zero workplace fatalities and RM2,659,192 invested in community programmes.
