Overview

The report highlights Ecolab's 2016 sustainability activities across customers, operations and communities. Customers conserved more than 161 billion gallons of water, saved 11 trillion BTUs of energy and eliminated 52 million pounds of waste. Ecolab reported a global team of 48,000 associates and $13 billion in net sales. Its 2020 goals target 25% lower water withdrawal and 10% lower greenhouse gas emissions from a 2015 intensity baseline, while 2016 intensity performance was +1.8% for water and +0.6% for GHG emissions.
