Overview

The report presents ELGi's maiden ESG disclosure for FY 2021-22, covering Indian, US and Italian operations and developed in accordance with the GRI Standards core criteria. It highlights that 40% of energy requirements came from renewable sources, alongside zero liquid discharge at all manufacturing locations and a 6% decrease in emissions intensity. Its materiality process used 645 internal and external stakeholder discussions to prioritize environmental, social and governance issues.
