Overview

The report presents Empire's fiscal 2022 sustainability work across People, Planet and Products. It sets a minimum 55% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 from a 2019 base year and reports a 2021 GHG inventory. It also reports a 22% reduction in store food waste and more than 9.6 million pounds of surplus food donated in fiscal 2022.
