Overview

The report describes Enviva's 2021 implementation of its responsible sourcing policy across forest regeneration, verification, transparency, and conservation. It reports successful analysis of all tracts sourced in 2018 to confirm regeneration and no conversion to non-forest use. The company achieved 20.3% certified content across the enterprise and completed its first independent Track & Trace audit by Preferred by Nature. Through its Forest Conservation Fund, Enviva helped conserve an additional 3,999 acres of forestland, including 2,900 acres of bottomland hardwood forests.
