Overview

The report presents EMIL's FY 2022-23 sustainability strategy across its mining, beneficiation, ferro-alloys and renewable-energy businesses. It reports 154339 tCO2e of Scope 1, 47814 tCO2e of Scope 2 and 71606150 tCO2e of Scope 3 emissions, with Scope 3 reporting covering categories 1 to 9. Environmental disclosures include 730073 m3 of water consumption and 33952945 MT of waste generated. Social highlights include 377 permanent employees, 1088 contract workers and extensive community programs, while TUV India provided limited external assurance.
