Overview

The report presents EVRAZ's first standalone sustainability report for 2018, prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards Core option and independently assured by Ernst & Young. It reports 68,379 year-end employees and 10 fatalities across employees and contractors. Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions were 34.56 and 4.23 million tonnes CO2e, while fresh water consumption fell 29.1% and non-mining waste recycling or reuse reached 111.3%.
