Overview

The report presents EWE's first comprehensive sustainability overview for 2014, covering economic, environmental and social performance across companies representing at least 95% of total generated sales. It reports 2,263,475 Mg of direct CO2 emissions from generation facilities and a 31.3% renewable share in electricity generation. EWE reports 9,099 year-end employees and sets a 40% reduction target for CO2 emissions per generated kWh by 2020 against 2005. The report follows GRI G4 Core and includes limited assurance by Ernst & Young.
