Overview

The report is the company's first ESG disclosure, covering key property and hotel operations in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Australia for 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017. It describes a governance model in which the Board oversees ESG strategy and an ESG Committee handles day-to-day implementation. A stakeholder survey of over 650 individuals and 12 management members identified 12 material ESG issues. Environmental highlights include a fully implemented group-wide Environmental Policy, hotel EarthCheck certifications, energy-saving upgrades, water conservation initiatives and waste-reduction practices.
